FAQ & Returns
Frequently Asked Questions:
What does the term Reclaimed mean?
- I use this term to describe metal that has been re-purposed by my own two hands. I melt down scrap silver, old jewelry or sterling silverware and pour the molten silver into sand-cast molds.
What does Recycled mean?
-Recycled metal is also recycling old silver or gold, but it is done on a large scale, and then bought as manufactured 100% recycled sheet or casting grain.
Do you accept Returns?
Earrings, Bracelets, Necklaces & "Available Now Rings"
-I will work with you so that you're content with your purchase. Please let me know within 7 days of your purchase and we'll figure something out together. If you choose to return an item there is a 10% restocking fee.
Made to Order Wedding and Heirloom Rings
-I cannot accept any ring returns as these are all made to order. This is due to the many ring sizes and the fact that each ring I make is cast specifically for you, and often a stone is sourced specifically for your piece. I do however want you to love your heirloom jewelry, so please reach out if you have any questions or concerns and we will work together to figure something out.
How do your environmental ethics align with your business?
-This is a question I re-visit again and again. I continually make small steps to align my deep love for the natural world with my business practices. One main way I do this is through the materials I use.
I use entirely reclaimed or recycled metals in my work.
Stone sourcing is the next way in which my practices align with my land ethic. I use 100% reclaimed diamonds in my pieces, meaning that the diamond has had a previous life in another piece of jewelry, and then has been re-cut and sourced into my work. The old mine cut diamonds are the original antique diamonds cut in the 1800s and re-purposed into my pieces. The Montana sapphires I use are ethically sourced. And nearly every day I ask myself what my next step will be to make my impact as small as possible.
How do I find out my ring size?
-Don't fret--I've got you covered. Click on "Contact" to request one be mailed to you. When buying a wedding, engagement or heirloom ring I encourage you to also go into your local jewelers to have your ring size measured, as this will be the most accurate measurement. Please keep in mind that your ring size varies slightly based on temperature and hydration.
I noticed a price changed. Why did this happen?
- I reserve the right to adjust prices as the market values of materials change.
When will I have my piece?
-I try my best to ship promptly, and I also live up on a mountain, so, orders go out within 4 days, though often they will ship the following day. This excludes Made-to-Order pieces whose ship times are specified in the item description.
